Announcements, Meet Recap
A Much Shorter Drive to Olivet

Some may say that we had a successful weekend. Our women's team placed 3rd and our men's team placed 2nd at NIRCA Track & Field Nationals in Richmond! For the first time in the history of the universe, a track meet ended ahead of schedule.

Congratulations to everyone that competed! I hope that your legs are tired from racing and your voices are tired from cheering. Does anyone know where I can find photos? Never mind, I just found it right here. If you earned a PR or club record, please fill out this document so we can recognize you! The clubs records (so far, according to the document) are as follows:
Samuel Yakulis, 3000mSC, 9:28.97 (NIRCA meet record)
Shannon Fisher, Shot Put, 9.93m
Tara Blue, Half Marathon, 1:29:26
Anna Rigby, 5000m, 17:20.06
Chris Nunn, 5000m, 14:51.26

Special shout out to Bella, Christian, and Tyler for competing in the Iron Mann challenge! Congrats to Christian for his first Iron Mann completion and to Bella for being the first woman in club history to achieve this feat! 💙💛 Blacksburg High School Meet Volunteering - 4/13
There is another great volunteer opportunity on Saturday, April 13 at Blacksburg High School. They are hosting a home meet that weekend and need volunteers. BHS helps us every year with our two home meets, and this is our opportunity to give back. This is the same day as the 3.2 for 32 run on campus so if you are running in the morning, you can come right after and still volunteer! The signup can be found here - please consider volunteering if you can. They literally cannot host this meet without our help.
🙀 WildCat Invitational - 4/20
While Nationals may be over, our track season surely isn't! We'll be traveling to Randolph College for their WildCat Invitational on Saturday, April 20th (with Javelin on 4/19). Yeah, this is the meet that formerly was our Twilight meet (and then got changed, and then rain made it a twilight meet anyway). You can sign up here.I think you know the drill by this point. Dues, IMLeagues, membership survey. Please fill out this form by Friday, April 12th.
🐻🐾 Bear Tracks Signup
Hey what's that? A really cool opportunity to connect with the community and get some volunteer hours? Yes it is! For the second year in a row, we're helping Margaret Beeks Elementary School with their running program. This is super fun and you'll get to run around with and race elementary schoolers in their tiny track. If you need volunteer hours, this is a great way to get them, and we can sign off on any document you need showing you did your hours. If you have any free time in the morning on Wednesdays or Thursdays, please sign up on the form here. This week's theme is pajamas!
🕵️ Scavenger Hunt - 4/14
Puzzle Master Wyatt is curating the scavenger hunt of all time for us to participate in on Sunday, April 14. Bring out your trench coats and magnifying glasses... put on your detective hats... polish your pipes... you get the idea. Your teams are your vans for nationals! If you didn't go to nationals, feel free to join any team you'd like. More info coming out at the end of the week.
🏀 March Madness Update

Women’s Bracket Champion 🏆: Kevin Kiernan (this could be rigged because he coordinated this event.)
